The JBL PRX912 is a powered (active) two‑way 12‑inch PA loudspeaker in JBL’s PRX900 Series.
Being an active speaker, the PRX912 includes its own onboard amplifier and DSP (digital signal processing), so you don’t need a separate amplifier to drive it.
It’s intended for portable sound reinforcement and live performance use (bands, DJs, corporate AV, event sound) — in other words, for situations where you want a powerful, flexible, and self-contained speaker system that can be deployed quickly and reliably.
