The JBL SRX818SP is a self‑powered (active) 18″ subwoofer in JBL’s SRX800 series.
Because it is self‑powered, it includes its own built‑in amplifier and DSP (digital signal processing), so you don’t need a separate amplifier to drive it.
It is intended for professional live sound, tour, DJ, rental, and installation applications — essentially wherever strong, deep low-frequency reinforcement is needed in a flexible and robust format.
