The VRX918S is a 18‑inch high‑power “flying” subwoofer (i.e., designed to be flown/suspended) built for live‑sound, touring and install applications. It uses a large 18″ woofer and rigging hardware so it can integrate with line‑array or flown systems.
JBL describe it as “a compact, high power suspendable subwoofer system containing a 2268H … 18″ Differential Drive® woofer in a front‑loaded, vented enclosure.”
It is designed to pair particularly with the VRX932LA line‑array module for flown/sub‑array use.
